The “Honeymooners”. An old black & white sitcom about a bus driver named Ralph Cramdan (Jackie Gleason) and his wife Alice (Aubrey Meadows) living in a tiny ramshackle apartment in New York City and their neighbors/ friends living above them. The show was a half hour comedy with all the funny situations they got into. Jackie Gleason was one of the great comedians of his time. Whenever Alice made him mad or got the better of him he would clench his fist, punch the air and say, “One of these days Alice, to the moon.”

The catch phrase would never make it in today’s television probably. Threatening to punch your wife so hard it sends her “to the moon” would not go over too big with today’s women.
