I watched some shows, but I really don’t want to go there.
My childhood was failed.
Now gladly I manage to be more productive and successful.

  • Sesame Street
  • Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes
  • Commander Tom

Hmmm… oh, and Mister Rogers. I was never a fan, but I remember it being on all the time

Captain Kangaroo. Bozo the Clown. Let’s Make a Deal.

Always got up early on Saturdays and watched various cartoons for a couple of hours.

How about the Adams Family?

The Grand Prize Game
(It was out of Chicago)
Romper Room
(It was out of the Quad Cities, and I was on it one time)

I thought of Romper Room too. I didn’t mention it because I thought it was just a local show in California. All I remember about it was at the end of every show that woman would get out the huge magnifying glass and pretend she could see kids in it.

I see someone else remembers Captain Kangaroo. It was my favorite when I was little.

Kimba the White Lion anybody?
Space Ghost?
The Jetsons?

I hated all the ones my mom wanted me to watch. I particularly hated Friendly Giant and Mr. Dressup. Sesame Street is up there on the list of shows I find risible. This was more my style:
