Olanzapine depot

** Hi everyone.
Olanzapina depot is administered every 4 weeks, but there is s risk of postinjection.

I am looking for something similar to olanzapine depot, does anyone know a similar injection but with not this problem?.

I know aripiprazole is not good to sleeping, I need something that give me relax, I am thinking zuclopentixole, paliperiddone…, BUT I am thinking that there are not a good medication depot; I am thinking there is not a good depot .
Does any one konw an dose equivalence beteween olanzapine and other depot medications ?

I think clopixol can be taken sa a depot

hi, have you got some experience with clopixol?.
There is a depot clopixol, I think one olanzapine 5 mgrs pill can be like a clolpixol depot every 4 weeks, but what dose?.

You might try Haldol, but I’ve got to warn you, Haldol is a drug many people hate. It makes them feel very bad. You might be one of those lucky souls that tolerates Haldol well. If I were you I would make a deal with my pdoc that you would try a Haldol depot injection, but you can get off it very quickly if it makes you feel too bad.

Hi, in my country (Spain), there is not haldol (haloperidol depot).
there are:
zuclopentixole (clopixol), risperidone, modecate, olanzapine, paliperidone and aripiprazole.

I think haldol is not sedative, so it is not good for me, because, I am very nervous.

Haldol is a “major tranquilizer”. It made me feel too bad to be nervous. It doesn’t make everyone feel that way, though.

My Dr. Said I have 5mg of invega in my body how long till that’s gone? I still feel heavily medicated

I wouldn’t know. I imagine it varies from person to person. When I went cold turkey on my Prolixin depot shot it took almost a year before I started experiencing symptoms again. Then I was hallucinating way harder than I ever had in the past. How long these med’s stay in your system probably depends substantially on how you metabolize it. That probably varies from person to person. They really loaded me up on Prolixin decoate before they let me out of the hospital. I was getting a large shot of that stuff every day.

hi, crimby, I know that haldol is a major tranquilizer like you say, but not enough for me,I am very nervous, so I would need a big dose of haldol…rexult: Parkinson. that is what I think.
I think is good but not for me.
On the other hand, it is not in spain.
