I would assume so. I know it’s not always the case but I assume atleast some people who are obese food addiction is a problem. And addiction has a real physiological ground. Brains will ofcourse be different. Would be cool to learn more about this! Thanks for posting it.
Smokers also have a rewired brain. I gues its a dependency on overeating instead
Im obese, but without my meds I’m not eating a lot. These meds are a curse, I’m on Seroquel and Im stable with it.
I was watching something today that said brains in obese people don’t have as many dopamine receptors, and that they have to eat more to get the same dopamine feeling as a more lean person.
Of course this came from the internet so take it with a grain of salt.
