Does anybody follow a specific nutrition for mental health? I will ask my doc to refer me to a nutritionist
I’m on paleo but for weight reasons
good ideas…!!!
$I’m just starting to try cinnamon
Just when I go under pressure I drink sweet hot water and it relaxes me,
I just had a salted caramel hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. I feel mentally healthier already.
I had blueberry smoothie today
The yogurt had 30g of sugar
More than I consume in a month
It was the only one I could get with full milk fat
What is sweet hot water?
Sounds like tea.
I’d like a nutritionist, I don’t think it is covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
Boiling water+ sugar.
I am not significantly over weight although I have put on weight sine I have been on Risperidone. I was 5’5" 122 before I got ill 18 months ago, and now I am 135.
Honestly, I don’t eat a whole lot but my staples are Starbucks and Ben & Jerry’s!! In between those two things, I usually have something microwavable. I live alone 6 months out of the year and I don’t feel like I eat enough to warrant cooking. I am NOT a good example for eating habits. I will say, though, that I had my Starbucks and ice cream habit when I weighed 122. It’s the damn meds, I tell ya! Maybe my thyroid pills (I haven’t been taking them that long) will help me get down a little more.
Ate there health benefits to it or something?
Sweetness is the food of of brain, yes it calms you down.
I have chronically low energy possibly due to depression and I found a balanced diet really helped with that, specifically green vegetables like broccoli. They really give you good energy.
