Number 5 weight goal in the bag!

So all this clean living is paying off. My weight goal on the fitbit is 4-5kgs loss per cycle. Today I hit number 5 and have lost 20 kgs ( 44lbs ).

It’s hard work for sure but the keto diet is working well for me and I’m getting better at it. It really is a pretty rapid weight loss in the scheme of things.

I’ve come down from 108 kgs where I was obese for my height in BMI. Now I’m almost to normal but a little to go but I’m confident of getting there and will keep up the low carb when I hit my goal of about 84-85 kgs. I just hit under 89 kgs and that was my weight in 2002 when I hit New Orleans!

Keto really does work if you do it right and still not sure of the whole sz thing but there’s something to say for it working for me. I do a lot of exercise too but diet is the key for sure.

I hope you succeed in maintaining the weight loss.

I once lost weight with a keto diet but gained it back afterwards.

You really have to think carefully about your plan after the weight loss.

Yeah it’s hard to maintain and the long term health wise I’m not really sure about but still. Plan is get to goal weight and then stay lo carb. I don’t do sugar anymore but it would be nice to add some brown rice for variety which is doable.

It’s hard to eat out which I like to do but I have days off and eat a good gourmet burger. I’m pretty disciplined at the moment so it’s so much easier. The benefits are good though so I’m locking in for the long haul.
