Now I’m kind of freaking out

About visiting my friend for the weekend….

I don’t want to leave baby human.

I haven’t been away from her for a night since she’s been born… almost 10 months. I am trying to tell myself I need to get away for a couple days… but it’s breaking my heart the idea of not seeing every moment.

Ugh. I’m overreacting.

Who’s watching baby human while you’re gone?

My mom. My husband and my dad will also be home with her so if she needs a break.

Yeah, she’s in good hands.

She’ll be fine.

You really need this time for you.

Taking care of yourself helps you take care of your baby best.

Hi @anon61987434
If you are going to think about baby all time, go for one day…
Perhaps go in the morning and come back…

I’m writting you first time…
You are good mother, this got me…

This is definitely something you need to overcome. When you have a person set out to keep an eye on the baby, just enjoy yourself, let yourself have fun. Stay responsible and come back at a reasonable agreed upon time, but other then that, enjoy yourself.

You’re not a bad person for having your mom watch the kid while you have a good time.

This is always one of the hardest times for first time moms, from what I hear. It’s healthy to be nervous about your first time being away from your kiddo, but I also think it’s important to assure yourself that baby human is in good hands with your mum, and you deserve a weekend to yourself. It’s self care!

Yes! Exactly. Parents can only do so much. I’m sure she’ll be fine with her grandparents.
