Sounds like a realistic treatment that could be superior to anti-psychotics and be available on a large scale.

Or perhaps a gene therapy target.

Since there’s as yet no drug candidate (at least none mentioned) that targets neuregulin 3, it’s probably on the order of decades … but as the author pointed out, at least we are on the way.
