I noticed my dog is having some sort of issue with her right eye this morning. I’m not sure how well it will turn up in the pic because I couldn’t get her to hold still and she was in a dark part of the room.
but it looks a little bit like this stock photo from another site but not as severe:
I guess that it’s called “cherry eye”. I’m not sure what to do about it yet, or if it might resolve on it’s own somewhat. I don’t like seeing my dog with an eye injury though.
It’s weird. I just checked her eye again and it has vanished. It will probably be back though. It has something to do with their “third eyelid”.
I’ve actually noticed that in your other doggy pics. You should def bring her to the vet.

It went away for now. I read up on it and it’s not life threatening or anything. If it comes back we may have to take her to the vet but I don’t think there is anything that a vet can do about it at the current time. If it gets bad, supposedly they might have to do surgery to cut it out. But like I said, it has completely receded back into her eye at the current time and her eyes look normal again now.
Oh good. As long as she is ok.
