I really don’t want to hear about drinking or see images of drinks or people drinking. I’m an alcoholic and go to AA. New Year holiday is really rough on me.

On this forum I was mainly talking about. But also on the New Year’s TV show last night. That’s why I don’t watch car racing, ballgames, and such much because of the beer and wine advertising.

My pal has hit the sauce again :frowning: he assured me it was only temporary, said he’d be off it tomorrow or something, he is a bullshitter sometimes, i dont like my friends lying to me :frowning:

Sorry about that mrhappy. I’m 53 days sober today, and before that six months sober. I’ve been going to AA since 2016. I had one period of two and a half years sober.

I have the same issue. I don’t like having to see or read about people using booze or weed.

weed is not a good subject for me either, my pal did around the same and it was really good 2.5years ( i think

I drank and smoked a lot of weed before I cleaned up. Took a bunch of crank as well. Sobriety/clean date is Feb 15, 1992.

My alcohol sobriety date is currently November 10, 2020. I had a two and a half year stretch sober, but fell off the wagon the spring of 2019 when I was suicidal.
