I only saw one display of alcohol on TV, and didn’t have any cravings. I’m an alcoholic and the holidays are rough on me.

Glad you made it through sober

My memories of New Years Eve from when I was a drug addict makes me think now how did I/we all survive that?

It’s been easier since I moved into my new apartment. Very few drinkers and drug users here like there was in my old building.

Nothing really stopping you from getting your hands on a bottle if you had really wanted it. You didn’t and that’s awesome. Slap on the back to you for some real growth and also for bringing in the new year right…

Same here, on all accounts. I set out to spend a quiet New Year’s Eve, and that was what I did.
