my parents and in laws were declared toxic by my therapist. my in laws don’'t want me talking to my parents anymore. i worry about my parents they both have weak immune systems. my mom has shingles again for a second time my in laws and partner think she is just telling me things so i feel bad about not being there.
i love my parents but i doubt they are as sick as they say they are. my in laws threatened to turn off my phone if i talk to my parents again before christmas.
I don’t see how it’s any business of your in-laws who you talk to. 
Do your in-laws know the therapist considers them toxic too?
no the in laws don’t know my therapist considers them toxic, my partner does and she doesn’t agree. she says my in laws love me. i don’t feel it. sometimes i think they just don’t want me around.

You should be able to talk to anyone you choose.
It’s your choice, no one else has the right to interfere.
Remember that you and your partner pay increased rent to have that phone. Since it’s your money, you have the right to talk to whoever you want. But yeah, they are all pretty toxic. I don’t know why your partner can’t/won’t see that. She doesn’t seem to be aware of the abuse you are put through on a daily basis.
gee, @cbbrown I wish you could talk freely to whomever you choose and especially your family? I wish you would break up with your partner, she obviously doesn’t have your best interests in mind, I think she is selfish, there I said it…you should move in with your parents.
I somewhat agree with @jukebox, I think you should dump all of them and live by yourself.
I have a good relationship. But if I spilled all the insecurities and doubts I’ve had with her, you guys would probably tell me to leave her. Or advise us to start smoking again!
