Transcranial magnetic stimulation is expensive, but transcranial direct current stimulation is not. The equipment for that is like a headset and battery instead of a million dollar MRI machine. But since it’s still experimental, the problem is finding someone to do it for you.
The most expensive one is rTMS … they are available in usa europe even in india…!!! I contacted indian pdoc about it they say its going to cost me 15000$ for a complete course…!!!
I think the benifit we get from it are temporary…!!! I heard it some where…!!!
I would do it but it’s not covered by insurance. I think TMS is covered for severe depression though.
Try it brosky if ur insurance covers it…!! It is said that its good for negative symptoms…!!!
