I don’t think I knew that soon enough. As I was thinking people like royalty, doctors, etc. that some people won all the time. Now I know it’s just not true. I can know, I’m not needing anyone to be perfect anymore.

Do you have any siblings to rival with? I have a brother 14 years older than me. We’ve been jealous of each other for as long as I can remember. Or maybe the envy is all mine?
Maybe you can look it this way. By the time you are as old as him, chances are you can accomplish as much as he does.
I have a younger sister who are envious of my provident fund but I tell her as she gets older, her savings would accumulated and multiplied (by annual dividend) and finally overtake me.

Oh sure. He and I are an apple and an orange, too; we don’t compare with each other. His mind is math/science, mine is arts/letters. Two different kinds of intellect. I imagine each of us wishes we had the other’s abilities. I was once a professional musician. Recently, my brother has begun participating in karaoke. I haven’t heard him sing, but he tells me he’s not bad
