Nobiten is causing depression in me :(

started since a week ago and fatigue, its a beta blocker,

what should i do?

It’s normal!!! Beta blockers cause your heart to slow slightly and pump less blood which makes you tired and slightly depressed. This generally goes away after a few weeks/months as your body adjusts. I used to be a registered pharmacy technician so I know a few things

Thanks @Sooner88

they are also starting to cause concentration problems and fatigue at evening

they do help and protect against strokes right, but what would happen if i quit it and taper off?

SzAdmin, I will talk i’m worried

Talk to your doctor before you quit taking it. There may be other medications that will work just as well, without the side effects. Also remember that any side effect, especially concentration and fatigue, can also be due to your psychotropic medications.

Still, remember that you’ve started taking this medication recently and it’s very common for side effects to be their worst within the first month of taking the medication. Most side effects generally go away or lessen, for most people, after the first few weeks/month.

Ask your doctor before you stop taking the Nobiten.
