No Plan B For The Future

So my neighbor was going on and on about me having a plan B, once I can’t do what I do now, which is getting close due to Arthritis, SZ, and other issues that are adding up, I have to retire or go on disability. I’m in pain all the time now, even take pain meds to sleep, so I will not be able to do anything else, I have 3 medical issues that qualify me for disability. I struggled threw the last 10 years, body is shutting down, how am I supposed to have a plan B to work?

Stupid neighbor just does not get it, I finally yelled back at him

you don’t have anything saved for retirement? Once you do decide to retire there are low income retirement homes that cost as little as $100 a month. At some point you will want to take it easy. Be sure to inquire with charities or organizations that help with aging care and be prepared.

Mate. Yeah it’s hard. I can’t do what I did ten years ago and that is why I find it hard and don’t work. I’m lucky because I’m on disability here and it’s doable. I’d suggest just looking around and seeing what is up. I admire you doing what you’ve done. You’ve done really well and you should be proud about that but keeping an eye out for yourself isn’t a bad thing!

Yeah section 8 for retirement. You can also get food stamps and some retirement income, I think. And free healthcare.
