New York City sues 'Big Pharma' for $500m for fueling opioid epidemic

It sounds like the school of thought were the pardues and sacklers families(and a few of of their buddies.)

(I am jus about to read these last ones posted)

Even working with an animal clinic drug reps would come by with presents and catered lunches. nice ones too!

It is now , i hope, common knowledge that doctors of people can not accept presents from drug reps such as full paid vacations and cars. At least they put a stop to that.

This is dated Sept of 2017.

The other article was dated Dec of 2017 and spoke of an upcoming law suit.(from the admin).

This has been a long and developing story.

I think this article was/could have been a type of two different writing styles called persaudsive and propoganda.

I say propaganda because they are really playing down the numbers of people addicted.

There are also some places they contradict even themselves saying 1. they place their addicted patients on methidone for life.

and then

stating that the only ones addicted are buying them illegally and want to be addicted after doctors cut them off.

(a silient imply that “only those dirty guilty as sin druggies are addicted and just because they want to be!”)

We will see what happens in the future as it continues to develope!

Are you familiar with the Cato Institute? It’s a strongly pro-business think tank. Intensely agenda-driven and a very unreliable source.

There is alternative pain killing ways of fighting pain with cannabis derived meds and ointments. just saying…nobody else is gonna say it.

I posted to show that there are different opinions on the subject out there.

Okay. There are different opinions on everything. Just be careful to check and understand your sources - a pro-business, anti-regulation think tank is necessarily going to present tightly curated facts.

Can you dig any thing up on this Dan polster guy?

He is the one to watch now.(below, last two words)

quote from the first article posted:

“ore than 60 federal lawsuits of a similar nature filed by cities and counties across the US are now being handled collectively by a federal judge in Ohio, Dan Polster”

I wonder whats in Dan Polsters wallet. who’s he “in bed with”.? lol

Is he honest enough?

People can blame Big Pharma till their blue in the face but at some point most of the blame should be directed at the consumers.
