New working pattern

Today I start my new working week. I work Monday to Thursday 8am to 5:30pm.

I used to work 5 days a week for the last 3 months, but I ended up with too much stress and going back to 4 days with an extra hour in the morning so I don’t lose too much money.

Hang in there and good luck. Keep yourself relaxed and avoid that stress. It’s not easy but stay on top of things!

It has come to light that I cannot have 7 out of 13 of the next fridays off due to someone else having holiday.

The whole point was I had those days to attend group again and rest for three days.

I might quit. I have been lied to.

Anyone got any advice?

Stuff like this happens. If it’s not a regular thing it may just be a temporary thing to get through. Understand your frustration but quitting a job can have consequences you don’t see. I wouldn’t rush to any decisions and maybe just go with the flow for a bit…??

There are a lot of consequences, but I am getting so stressed I cannot cope anymore. I am finding it so difficult to function now that I might have to go off sick again. This is just too much for me to handle right now.

Fair cop matey. Do what you need to do to survive. I understand totally and I’ve not worked for year because stress does me in every time. Hang in there matey.
