Depends where I’m at in life really. Right I’m not too consistent unfortunately.
I wash my body once or twice a day. I brush my teeth once or twice every day.
I wash my hair at least 5 times a week. I am trying to leave it longer because it is not healthy to shampoo every day.
I like to do it at least every other day, but sometimes it’s just too much for me sadly
I take a shower every other or every third day,
But I only wash my hair once a week.
I’ve done it like that for a long time, so my body is well adjusted.
I just hate washing my hair for some weird reason,
Probably because I’ve always kept it so long and hate water.
I use dry shampoo sometimes, but not as often as you’d think…
I’m gross…
When I was 12 and deep in depression, I would only shower like once a month. Now I shower 3 times a week.
If I am healthy, I shower every 2nd or 3rd day.
if my negative symptoms are bad, I can go 7 days without a shower.
It all depends on my state of mind.
id say right now it’s about a 4. I also brush my teeth every day (twice a day) and wash every day. So I’d say grooming is fairly good.
When I shower I have to wash my hair. It gets super greasy very quickly unfortunately.
Normally I would shower everyday. But i don’t see the point. I think every other day isnt so bad.
I also use dry shampoo. Even though I wash my hair every other day. My hair gets so greasy. But dry shampoo is always good for styling too.
I shower everyday, usually twice a day or more. I have schizo-ocd, so I’m obsessed with cleaning and purifying my body. I don’t moisturize my skin that often so I tend to get kind of dry and flaky in the winter. I also change clothes very frequently, that might be just to impress this girl in my school though, I never smell bad. Always use good smelling moisturizer or conditioner on my hair and wash my body with antibacterial body wash. I wash my hands with antibacterial soap very frequently as well, after I’ve touched a surface like a door handle or the keyboard I wash my hands. These are just my little obsessions, as well as my medication. I micromanage all this stuff. Surprisingly I’m not particularly tidy, my clothes remain in hampers all wrinkled. I have a clean clothes hamper and a dirty clothes hamper. No hangers and no dressers. These are all symptoms of OCD, these are my little ways of controlling my world when I feel out of control. Amotivation makes it hard for me to organize things and get stuff done. This is a constant issue.
If there’s a mud puddle- I’m usually in it.
If there’s dirty work to be done around the house- I do it.
I’m not afraid of dirt, so I’ll shower before bed to keep my blankies clean.
Seems if I don’t shower after I wake up, the whole day is a waste and nothing gets done.
At the moment I only shower once or sometimes twice a week. I hope to improve those numbers though
I probably shower more times than I should
I seen reports that show it is not good to shower everyday and wash away natural oils, if I have to go to the Doctor or anything like that I shower, but normally every second day
You should add more options like 1 per month, 1 per 2 months and 1 per year.
I can’t get my sheets dirty. I therfor shower everyday before I go to bed.
I never miss a day
that was the “I don’t smell very good this week” option
Loyal to the old adage, “don’t save for tomorrow what you can do today”, I have embraced the philosophy “don’t save for tomorrow, save for the day after tomorrow, cause maybe by then, the need to do it will no longer exist”.
It depends on how much human interaction I think I’ll have. If I KNOW that I’ll have a lot of days where I just stay inside and don’t really have to see other humans, I shower maybe twice a week. If I’m going to be with other people, I shower more, because I don’t want them to think I’m gross.
Currently about 5-6 per week. That is a vast improvement on once every couple of months, with strip washes every 5 days or so.
I think what helps is I’ve got my stepdaughter chasing me up re bathing/showering. It’s still difficult though, and some days it’s a real battle to get myself to do it.
