I don’t know why I wasn’t put on this initially. It’s basically an extended release version of modafinil so it lasts 8-10 hours instead of 3. That’s way better and will solve my issue of it wearing off so early and having to take multiple doses that give me side effects. I’ll let you guys know how it goes!

I eventually got psychosis on modafinil. I wont recommend to anyone.

How long were you on it? I’ve been on it for over a year, going on 2, and have had no problems.

I took 100mg modafinil for 3 years, then i got psychosis on it. Thereafter i couldnt even tolerate 50mg modafinil.
I also had my 1st psychotic relapse after 3.5 years of my illness which has nothing to do with modafinil. I had to increase my clozapine from 100mg to 200mg to become stable again.

It seems very strange to get psychosis after 3 years of being on something. Are you sure you didn’t have any other factors going on that could’ve caused it?
