I couldn’t get my hood open by myself and I needed a new battery because the freeze killed my other one…sheesh…mom about ■■■■ when she saw the bill…she’s mad at me now…I don’t blame her but I couldn’t help it.

Do they sell blemishes (imperfect) batteries near you? Half the cost.

Dont buy wal mart batteries they die every winter. I spent over 200$ for a battery from o rielly auto parts and it hasnt died this winter and it has a long warranty i believe

Hope you are remembering to run your engine in the morning and evening for 20 minutes. That keeps the battery from dying in very cold weather.

I keep a trickle charger on mine. Solar in the summer.
That sucks! I had this before but the battery had a 4 year warranty

The battery in Vlad the Impala went during the previous cold snap in November. I was not trying to replace it myself in -35C weather so I took the car to the dealership. Bunch of chiselers, let me tell you. I should have done it myself in the summer at 1/4 of the cost.

well what’s done is done…better luck next time…the battery would have died anyways @sweetpotatocasserole it was due for a new one…cold snap today is the last day of freezing temps during the day…safe now.
