I must have something negative on my mind - like I’m a cold, demanding and aggressive person - which I tend to be. Combine that with thinking I’m perfect and you have a real mess on your hands.
Do you really think you’re perfect or are you being facetious?
It came to mind a couple of days ago. That I really hadn’t accepted myself as someone who makes mistakes. My parents were perfectionists and I picked it up. Making mistakes made me tense and insecure so I defended myself by thinking I was perfect.
Well, at least you’re aware of it. That’s the first step.
