I just watched the scene where they keep moving the one guys desk till he ends in the basement lol
I’m confused as to what the red pill was supposed to be. I thought I was choosing truth but it was only delusion and it was making me suicidally miserable. Also, in addition to triggering me you probably also triggered @Om_Sadasiva

Benjamin Cain has an excellent blog demystifying the Matrix for example if anyones interested in philosophical analysis of these topics through physicalism, pro atheistic, pro rationalist stance. Quite a fascinating blog. Depending on your biases

I’m not sure it’s good for most schizophrenics to delve into the philosophy of the matrix. I think it just triggers most people’s delusions.

The confusing thing about the matrix to szs is that the reality (enlaved by machines) is closer to a paranoid delusion and the blue pill, which is the simulation, is reality as we know it. In the real world the only simulation is the one our minds create of the word which in sz is delusional, and the reality is, well, mundane af. Ironically then @Zwaynopolous jokes that the simulation is this parody of our mundane reality.
I had to dig in to the religious stuff to dismantle some delusions. Or should I say abandon some beliefs and take a very generalized view.
