Hi there,
I’m taking NAC for a few months now and I can feel it is very good. It somehow controls most of my symptoms and makes me more alert and happy. I tried different brands but I think one of them is better.
For whoever tried it already please let me know in which way has helped you… make you relax, at peace, more energy or alert?

@NewMe1718 You are lucky that this NAC is effective in your case. I took Tetrafol NAC for 3 months and it did not have any therapeutic effect on me. I had no option but to stop taking it . Generally these medicines are used as add on’s to the regular medicines of SZ. We must consider ourselves lucky if they work for us.

@Andhrawala have u tried sarcosine…!!!

@far_cry0 I talked with my doctor about Sarcosine. He said that these drugs like Sarcosine are not time tested and did not encourage me to take it. Any way I don’t think Sarcosine is avalable in India, and if it becomes available I don’t think there is no harm in trying it.

NO! not that rich. It can cost you a fortune in dollors. Any way I think that it is better to take it under doctor’s discretion even though it is pretty harmless.

I posted earlier aout NAC and addiction.
I found it makes me more tranquil and helps stop me craving illicit drugs and alcohol.
I take 1200mg a day now (2 x 600, one at morning and one at tea time), and I think it is great. I buy one made in the UK, so I don’t worry about contaminants too much. I can feel it working 30 to 40 minutes after taking it.

Same here. I take about 1000mg divided. But mine has Selenium in it as well, so it is good combination to boost Glutathione! It makes me more motivated and boost my energy level, thus I get more alert which is something I was looking for it for ages without bad stimulation like coffee…etc
NAC is the right supplement for me indeed. It makes me more normal and balanced
