I hadn’t seen them in years. It was so good to see them. I could see a good side of my father in the features of my sister’s face. It gave me hope that I could find a better understanding of my father.

It was. We ate lunch, played Bananagrams and visited. They are doing well. They want to come up again in July.

I’m seeing my mom, sister, and aunt soon. They are flying up to Alaska for my birthday in a couple of weeks and I’m excited as I haven’t seen them in a while. I’ve been cleaning ferociously so that they won’t think I live like a slob! I can’t wait to hug them!

They already left but we got along well and they want to come see me and bring my two grand-nephews whom I’ve never met.
