My sister and I never complained but it’s why I never wanted to become a piano teacher. She had her reasons, she was an old single woman and arthritis had set in. And the story was that she got stood up at her wedding. So sad.

Just goes to show you that not having a mental illness doesn’t mean you have a smooth life.

What a sad story! That’s probably why she never married. She didn’t trust any other guy to show up at her wedding.

My piano teacher used to pound my fingers when I got it wrong.
The way people joke about not liking piano lessons, I’m thinking many of them have a nasty disposition.
