Im sorta worried that they might change my diagnosis of Sz as well - now they know the full exent of my drinking habits. I was originally Paranoid Psychosis when i was younger when i was on the old school depot drugs. But then after a section i was then diagnosed BPD. I had that diagnosis for years. Its only the past couple years since moving to a new area the diagnosed me Sz.

But being Schizophrenic “suits me” - it explains away alot of weird unhappy shite ive experienced growing up. And im happy now.

The diagnostic labels are rather simplistic anyway and don’t fully describe the problems a lot of us have. I’m diagnosed with paranoid PD but actually fit an avoidant/autistic(traits)/NVLD/schizotypal (traits) mix much more accurately and better.

I have had over 10 doctors over the years, all think I have something different, except may two that are the same. I’m SZA as far as I can tell from all the information I have gathered over the years, don’t really care what the Doctors say anymore. Meds are working so I’m done trying to figure it out

Your problem is easy to remedy. Just tell your pdoc: “That’s great, doc! That means I’m normal and I don’t need your medications anymore, so I will quit taking them!” Then, go home and dispose of all your meds and wait for your psychosis, depression and suicidal thinking to come roaring back. Then, get admitted to the hospital where your inpatient doctors will promptly re diagnose you with the desired diagnosis.
