From the perspective of an employer, he/she just want productivity from staffs. He/she would make sure high morale among employees because he/she cares about his/her business.
If you look from employer’s standpoint, he/she certainly worries about disability on individual level because it would affect the company’s daily operation, and that he/she must take action, to protect his/her business growth and staffs morale as a whole.
I would say, as a mentally challenged persons, consider it as taking long leave, away from the work. We will return to workplace once our mental conditions get better.
In the future, AI will replace humans because it is more productive, no need to give benefits.
I hope that that will what will happen, that people will stop working so that I don’t have to work as well.
Otherwise I will have a very successful career.
If like 0.5 percent works, then I can give a pass.
But if like 20 percent work, then I will work and rise to the top of the ladder.
I mean that I would rather not work.
But, as things stand now that success is encouraged and respected, I will have to pursue professional success.
If society stops encouraging work and career success, it will free me from working.
Why are you so sad that robots are taking over?
I am sure that you will find what to do even sans a job.
It is also possible that in the future there will be voluntary work spots unrelated to financial benefits and
societal status.
Now I know your thinking about work. I think we have to redefine success, that success is not the achievement of fame and wealth, it is something else like love, compassion and generosity. The systems of things are wrong in most parts.
I am not sad, but I am just scared if one day A.I. is taking over.
Thank you for spending time to tell me your opinion about work.
To tell you the truth, the reason I am not so eager to work is that I have chess,
that I would like to practice and improve, and it does not contain money.
I understand your fright regarding AI.
First of all there is the danger that AI will destroy humanity.
As well, if jobs are eliminated and there is no way for people to be all right in terms of their needs, like housing and food,
that is bad.
Also some people are bored without their jobs and that’s another problem.
All these things require proper management from our governments, for example switching to voluntary work instead of
paid work and providing more things for free.
As well, I would like to see economic equality, and I would like to see an egalitarian society rather than a hierarchical one.
I would rather be equal to others than on top of them.
