My new glasses work perfectly but

I’m so used to having to wear my glasses part way down my nose that I keep letting the new ones slip down and then I can’t see out of the bifocal and I think I’m going blind. lol

I got new glasses about a week ago. I have not worn them since trying them on. My vision is not too bad.

Oh why? That makes me sad.

I dunno, I’m just not accustomed to wearing them and since my vision isn’t too bad, I don’t generally feel the need to wear them. Probably a waste of money getting them, lol. I might use them on certain occasions. Maybe when I drive in the dark. I have difficulty seeing well in the dark sometimes. Or maybe on the rare occasion when I watch tv. Can’t see it well from a distance.

I’ve been wearing glasses since the 2nd grade, except when I was in my twenties when I wore contacts. My vision is horrible, I can hardly make out shapes without my glasses.

You have no trouble reading without glasses? I can’t read without mine.

I don’t have bifocals anyway. My prescription is only for nearsightedness. To get prescription for both near and far sightedness I would’ve had to pay over $200 more. Didn’t feel like spending the money. As I get older, yes, I might have a hard time reading the directions on a pill bottle but the print on most things is big enough that I do not have a problem reading in general, like a book or something. My farsightedness has not developed that bad yet.
