I got new glasses BUT

I’m having trouble seeing with them.

The eye dr said it’s because I’ve gone so long without wearing them and they’re correcting my astigmatism plus they are progressive lenses for both distance and reading.

They said to give it 3 weeks for my brain and eyes to adjust. I’m supposed to wear them all the time, except when driving until I’m used to them.

Hope you get used to them. I had a pair that if I switched to my vision would take a while to readjust.

I honestly never did get used to them. They broke before I had a chance to wear them enough. I think it was getting better though.

The vision place just called me and said I was given wrong info. It takes 3 days not 3 weeks to know if glasses are working or not.

I have progressive lenses that the bottom is for reading and the top of the lens is for far away…it takes some getting used to…if you are walking, look through the top…if you are sitting down and looking at something close, look through the bottom…don’t just gaze through the lenses.
