The muscles in my right pointer finger and thumb are twitching. They do that sometimes, but I keep forgetting to tell the Pdoc. Is it something she should know about?
It doesn’t hurt, and it’s not very visible, it’s just annoying.
I get that too sometimes. Like you I have always forgot to mention it so don’t know if it’s important.
I get the same thing every now and again. I reason that if it was something serious then it would be permanent? Not sure. Probably best to be on the safe side and mention it to a doc to ease your concerns.
Me and my pdoc concluded that my arm shaking from Zoloft presents a greater reward than risk
As Zoloft is just way too effective for me. He doesn’t wanna risk trying another med because of this one side effect.
But yeah mention it
I get that in my left thumb. It twitches and jerks sometimes. My pdoc prescribed Cogentin for it and it mostly went away. I would definitely talk to your pdoc about it.
I told my Pnurse, and she called me immediately with follow-up questions.
she printed a list of my medicines, and will do some reasearch into if any of them could be causing it. And she’ll call me tomorrow afternoon with what she found.
My hands are shaking but I don’t give a damn
I also get it from time to time. It normally goes away after a day or two.
I have it again since this morning. Exactly like you in the right hand pointing finger and thumb. It is very troublesome.
My previous pdoc prescribed for me Parkinson meds for it but I never took it.
I was thinking about making an appointment with my pdoc and hear what he says.
My hand was doing that the other day, it stopped after a few minutes
I’ll get twitches on my fingers, eyes from time to time.
My doctor told me that it’s the risperidone causing this.
I don’t think it’s a concern for me because its not constant.
You can mention it to your doctor to ease things for you.
sounds like those parkinsons-like symptoms which probably means that dopamine is too low in some place in your brain/body maybe because of the winter months. Here are some ways to naturally raise your dopamine levels:
I’m glad you spoke to your pnurse. Uncontrollable muscle movements are a possible side effect of most APs, and there are meds that can stop it.
