I did porn for a year and stopped it. It affected my mind, so I quit. I quit when I was 21 years old. I just watched three times porn in ten years, but always turned it off after some seconds. I don’t get an erection on porn anymore. I find it disgusting.

I 100% agree with your grandpa.
Every time you watch porn you are telling your entire body a lie which is that you’re having sex. Your penis and your body believe you are having sex. That a big distortion.
At a minimum it will desensitize you and how can that be good for you unless you’re already deviant.
I’m not judging either but not having sex messes with my mind more than actually having sex ever did.

personally depression is usually when i watch it, to escape… its very simple.
when depression lifts i generally dont care to do it much.
its like a couple beers every so often probably wont do much to you. same if you occasionally watch porn. its when things are very excessive and compulsive it can be a problem

Porn addiction is dangerous.
Either you start looking at women as only sex objects, or you lose faith that there still exists a woman who will be faithful and not leave you for a richer or younger guy.
It gets in the way of you finding a real caring partner.

Today’s internet porn is very dark and dehumanizing.
It’s also very addictive.
I dont watch it. The times in the past that i did watch it, they messed up my experience of real loving, intimate sex. I find it disturbing in many ways. I do not want to contribute to the degradation of those people either.
If a partner would watch porn, i would feel bad about that.
