Many of the women and girls are being forced to engage in porn. They are threatened and beaten until they have sex with whomever they’re told while acting happy about it. That alone is reason not to watch it. Also, watching it gives false expectations of what sex is really like between 2 loving people.

When I lived in Orange County, California we weren’t allowed to fly over the porn studio near there. They complained about helicopter noise all the time so we avoided the area.

This was in the 90s. I don’t know if it’s still there but all the military bases in Orange County were closed down and moved mostly to San Diego.

Human trafficking is a huge problem. Even for older teens and young adults. Porn includes babies and kids being raped. You may not watch that but it’s still there and very real. I personally knew people forced into porn. It’s a very real problem

To respond directly to the thread, I think personally that porn can be used in a healthy manner. However, especially regarding the increasingly perverted roleplaying done in the videos, it should be used in a mindful manner. By this i mean that people should avoid the perverted videos altogether. Even if it strokea your fancy, this ptype of content probably does mess up your mind in a very real way. Change in thoughts and stuff. I imagine people that watch those types of porn probably develop fantasies, even so far as hopes, of real family members in their lives, which as @andrey mentions, messes with the structure and nature of a family.

Also now that i stop and think about it, if you’re going to watch porn, you should do research and find out what producers are known to be ethical.

In short, i think porn can be dangerous. And especially as schizophrenics we are prone to taking things to an addictive point. And porn addiction can be among the unhealthiest of them out there.

I masturbated on film when I was young which was so stupid of me.
