My GP tried to prescribe me antidepressants today

I flat out refused. Got prescribed Propranolol instead.

On the meantime I’d suggest to get at least some sun exposure and exercise in…

So basically if I didn’t have this psychosis dx I would have been able to self refer for therapy. Cos I do though, I have to go to the GP to get referred. So I’m waiting now.

I think a pdoc should prescribe pdoc and a primary care physical health and cooordinate meds.

This sounds so confusing.

Yes but gps can prescribe certain meds not antipsychotics

My GP put me on cymbalta and I ended up having a manic episode.

I hate to tell you this but antidepressants seldom works for anxiety. And if they work they also remove all other emotions as well.

I refused because antid’s make me psychotic, wish she would check my history.

Propanolol is better for anxiety than ssri drugs in my opinion :ok_hand:
