@anon59133895 got her a new tablet. I just bought a new laptop. My new place is small and I didn’t have room for a desktop. I’ve had it for almost a week. I set it up wrong the day I got it and I couldn’t log onto the internet. For those of you who are paying attention I logged on too this site this week with my sisters laptop. But I called tech support yesterday and they helped me and now I’m on my own laptop I have to say, this will take getting used to, the scrolling is difficult, so is copying and pasting and spellchek, lol.
.
Ctrl+x = cut
Ctrl+c = copy
Ctrl+v = paste
Takes a few times but it’s more natural than right click on a track pad.
You can also get a Usb mouse wired/wireless for more of a desktop experience.
Thanks a lot @SoitGoes. But I can’t even “drag and highlight” text to copy it. I’m still trying to experiment with that. So far: no luck.
heh. Congrats on the new laptop!!!
Congratulations, it takes a bit of practice. Hope you enjoy your time with it! It’s been awhile since I checked it out myself, but I high recommend the subreddit /funny on reddit.com when you feel like finding something to smile about.
I always hated touchpad in laptops I only use mouse
some people never use mouse, only touchpad and I’m just opposite
we have schizophrenia so we have less brain activity so simple things get complicated
mouse makes it simple and touchpad needs to be used again and again and make it a habit and then it becomes easy but no no no
yes yes yes mouse only
I got a USB mouse right away and never looked back. It operates just like a desktop, plus there’s no cord.
