My fellow Americans, what are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Yeah no ■■■■ lol. It’s basically our entire countries history.

Wouldn’t really say that’s true. At least in Canada. Rasicm is live and well especially for aboriginal people. Not to mention right now ethnic cleansing is happening in the world. I guess considering, our countries are doing okay.

Its pretty much every country’s history.

Well, with few notable exceptions.

We are a murder-y people, I guess.

I’ll be eating my vegan sausage and veggies while my family eats their turkey. I’ll be at my brother’s house.

yeah I don’t have a heart for animals typically, even though I’m almost vegan. for me thanksgiving is like the one day I eat meat, like the saying goes “no rest for the wicked”

Returning America to the British and the Native-Americans.

Going to my gramma’s for Turkey and all that good stuff. Should be good. I guess football will be on too but I’d rather just read about the game the next day tbh. I love Turkey but dint understand spectator sports. sigh

And the frenchies…

We are hosting my husband’s family. We will order out Chinese food (lol). I know - we are a bunch of traitors! But my family and I are vegetarian and my husband’s family really likes meat. So a Chinese restaurant has both of these. Plus, I can’t stand the stress of cooking on that day. Everyone has their hang-ups about how things should be done. So, we all agree that Chinese food is a good compromise and a great new tradition!

it’s been tough. i’ve been hallucinating episodically since about 23, i’m
in my 50’s. however i was referring to the dinner i was having. the
difficult dishes were made and brought by the guest. if you put a turkey in
the oven, cook it long enough, well it pretty much comes out good. it
appears i have a pinched nerve and am just not able to do alot. i see
though that you are right. i shouldn’t feel bad when times are easy.
maybe i just got use to times being tough. thank you for replying.
