ive tried teaching my dog in both russian and english but in english he always gets sit and lay down mixed up and in russian he doesnt get commands mixed up im so confused because i use the same gestures

What kind of dog do you have?
Mixed up it or does sit and lay down cause him to only sit or only lay down.
Maybe he thinks both words mean one thing.

I raise the tone when I say lay down a little it works. I point at her nose to sit.
I use either words or physical commands but not both simultaneously.

when i tell him to sit he lays down but only sometimes sit down
