Yes, our Russian blue cat Skye is a talker. But she listens to us and seems to understand what we say to her. She communicates with us, too. The other cats are not like that.
Deoge was a special dog.

My animals all understand English. We have to spell walk and treat.
I have my Sasha’s ashes on the mantle of the fire place. I have two new dogs. They are great but Sasha just couldn’t be replaced.

My current fur baby doesn’t get it. He just can’t learn very easily. But he’s so darned cute and cuddly it doesn’t matter. Haha!

My dog, War, understands a lot. They say his breed can understand 250 to 300 words. They have an understanding of language like a 3 year old child. Hes a German Shepherd.

is he trained, cuz I boarded one, and they used a shock collar on him to go for a walk. that was worth every 200 dollars I got for him. sweetheart though. but I had other dogs here,
and had to watch em all constantly.

We talk to our dogs, they really love being spoken to. We don’t train them at all - too unmotivated - but because we talk to them so much they understand all the basics including get off the bed.

Oh yeah, i trained him. No shock collar, thats just mean.
War walks very nicely with a head lead. It goes on like a muzzle and clips to a leash. They won’t pull with them on because it turns their head if the do.
He’s a big baby.
