Nice. My dad wants a Tesla. He also likes the cyber truck. I pray to god he doesn’t waste money on that monstrosity.

Yeah I’m not a huge fan of Elon, but he’s even on video saying they dug their own grave with cyber truck. I don’t mind Tesla cars though. They’ve struggled with the cybertruck.

That’s cool. I’m not full on the electric car wagon. I was an old street racer. My dream is an LS nb Miata. I don’t need speed just something fun. I drive a base 2009 5 speed Toyota Yaris hatch. I named it hailstorm since it’s white, round, and got hit by hail last year. It’s not in the best shape but it runs well, gets good gas mileage, and was free. Here’s the hail. Big chunks.

I think having one makes sense if you are using it as a local runabout, and especially if you know how to disassemble and recondition a battery pack on your own. For long trips? Fugheddaboutit.

Yeah my dads would be for in town. He could charge it at home so it makes some sense.

I did most of my travel around town using an eScooter this past summer. I used my ICE car so little that I had to put a trickle charger on the battery. The savings are nice.

Do you live in the states? I’ve looked at electric bikes and scooters, but I don’t go anywhere close other than the gas station. I’ve thought about one of those cheap Honda mopeds, but I live in the ghetto and people steal ■■■■ like that all the time. Unless I could park it and lock it up on my back porch and cover the porch.
I’m waiting on a small hybrid SUV coming. A Renault Captur, i have an ebike but the weather isnt great half the year here so i’ll need to use both.
