To be festive,
I set up a Christmas Tree for my husband.
I’m going to be gone for most of December so I wanted something special for him.
Totally backfired.
He wanted to decorate it.
With an angel topper that he’s had in his family for a long time.
This is the view from where I sit all day, everyday.
Oh boy.
I’m not enjoying this ■■■■■ watching my every move.
Merry Christmas to me.
The angel has something creepy about it.
I would put it back in a box.
Tell me about it.
I would, but my husband likes it.
The first thing i noticed, were the eyes of the angel.
I said to myself “what if there are cameras in the eyes?”
Well, it’s not healthy that’s the first place your mind went.
Of course, it’s not healthy I think the think is sentient.
So fair enough.
I don’t like it.
Yeah! That is creepy.
Do you think your husband would notice if you turned it 180° with its back facing you?
My wife has this really ugly thing gifted to her by a deceased grandparent. I’ll never be free of it.

I think it’s a pretty ornament. That’s it!
But why have it on top of a x- mas tree? That thing should hang by the window or something?

I don’t like anything staring right back at me even in pictures it’s creepy.
If I get an angel for my tree it will be based off of the descriptions of “actual” angels.

Would it help if you put a few sequins on the angel, so it blends in more with the decorations on the tree? The angel seems to me to clash with the rest of the tree. Maybe you could tuck some of her robe under her. That angel sticks out on the tree.

I was shopping in a Homegoods store earlier today and they had some holiday Annalee dolls. I think they look pretty creepy.
