She posted this sappy thing about how much she missed her dad and what a great dad he was and what a great man he was on Facebook for Memorial Day. He was awful. He was abusive. He was a sexist. He had his underage mistress living in their childhood home. I don’t understand her loyalty.

Some people are totally blind to the awful things their family members do because they are clinging to the idea of who they pretended to be.

Sounds like an image thing. She wants to project the image of the perfect family for the world to see. Just my guess though.

“Underage mistress” that in itself is hugely damning and says a lot about someone’s character.

I’ve got a slightly older cousin who posts similar stuff about her dad. I remember him and wonder if it’s the same guy? He was an abusive drunk who cheated on my aunt and beat his kids. I think a lot of us were relieved when the old @#$% finally kicked the bucket. Hope his new digs are uncomfortably hot.
