The 25th they went to my sisters, same as today. On the 27th they are through seeing more family in Glasgow.
My family time (just me and my folks) is scheduled for the 1st. Am looking forward to it

It is tradition to have steak pie here on the 1st.
If you are wondering steak pie is just a pie stuffed with stewed beef (not steak beef so not sure why they call it that)

We have something similar here called pot pie but you put your potatoes go inside the pie here.

Do y’all not have Boxing Day in England? My dad went to his friend’s house in another town today to celebrate Boxing Day. His friend has lived here for years but he’s actually from Wales.

Yeah we have Boxing Day here. Is a nice second holiday after Xmas. Is good for recovery from a lot of food!
