i had a lazy day, day off but i took my mum out for lunch and then we saw my sis.

No not working. We don’t have thanksgiving here. We usually have our turkey at Xmas in the uk.

In Scotland we have burns day (after the old poet Robert burns). It is traditional to eat haggis that day.

Yes. He makes haggis. We’re part Irish-Scott. My dad wants to learn bagpipes

Folk who have played bagpipes all their life lose a bit of hearing. Those things are loud.

I love the sound of bagpipes. Where I grew up each town would have its own pipe band.

My pal at school played the pipes. New year is a big deal in Scotland. She would make a fortune in tips by going round all the bars on New Year’s Eve playing for the drunk folk
