So I’m on 2 meds for it. 1 is a chemo type of drug that’s an old and very common drug, and the other is an immunosuppressant.
My dr was considering getting me iv infusions to replace the oral chemo type of drug.
But it’s extremely expensive and since I’m in the hospitals financial aid program it would cost them a lot of money.
So, I’ve agreed to take a much higher dose of the oral chemo first.
If that works, I’ll just stay on that and the other drug
If it doesn’t work, I’ll stop taking those 2 drugs and get the IV infusions

wow sorry you’re on chemo…if you lose your hair just wear one of those cancer wigs they give out I think. sorry. not much help.

@jukebox , I haven’t lost any hair. Most people don’t on this drug, but some do. Luckily, I’m in the majority.

@jukebox , when I first started it I found affordable wigs just in case I needed to buy one, so I had a plan. But it all worked out
