Turned out pretty good. No eye damage due to diabetes or high blood pressure. My cataracts didn’t get any worse from a year and a half ago, but I still have them. So I guess I should be happy.

I had my first one about 6 months ago. Did not have any eye damage due to diabetes either. Hooray for us!

I drive my mom every few months to eye appointments. Same story as she’s diabetic. Had to have laser a few times.

She had minor bleeds on her cornea. They cauterize them.
We got her on an insulin pump and her eyes have gotten better as her sugars are more controlled.

I’ve had diabetes since February 2011, eleven years now. I’ve been doing eye exams usually every year. I was six months late with it this year though.

I had my yearly eye exam last month. No problems to report.
I am also diabetic (Type 2).

I had my eye exam at the end of December. No damage from diabetes.
