Well…for some mysterious reason musicians seem to be prone to all kinds of early death like suicide, murder, overdose, disease and accidents. A lot of the artists I listen to fall into this category like: dolores o’riordan, sinead o’connor, warren zevon, jimmy hendrix, stevie ray vaughan, lynyrd skynyrd, kurt kobain, janis joplin, peter tosh, bob marley, jim morrison to mention some.
I guess it’s a dangerous profession.

Marley had foot cancer I think … and didn’t get treatment because it ran opposite his belief system… I adore his music. And tried a few biographies but couldn’t get into any of them.

Hehe, I’m not into reggae for carrying the message of weed. I take that bit with a grain of salt, but a lot of the music carries positive messages.

A lot of writers die young or live miserable lives. F. Scott Fitzgerald died young, broke, and miserable. Ernest Hemingway blew his brains out when he was 62. Poe died on the street, full of opium, and alone. Samuel Taylor Coleridge was a big opium addict. Everything I’ve ever read about Dostoyevsky said that he was awful to be around. Maybe they don’t die as young as musical artists, but writers tend to live miserable lives.

it’s a mistake they make, they don’t know what the end is really all about…it’s all over…forever…noo no no. I lost an ex fiance’ to suicide, and it never stops hurting…I left her because she abused me. verbally and emotionally distant, laying in bed all the time, then one night she asked me if I was happy. and I was miserable so I said no. and she said, neither am i , why don’t we both die together? and I left for oklahoma…thanks for taking me there man. @Wave
