This is the first song I’ve made in a while too

The technique I use is using a lot of samples. My music is kinda like a collage. A lot of one shot elements layered and processed to sound coherent… Mixed with some original layers and it all comes together. I use a synth called serum which let’s you create a lot of sound effects by turning knobs.

I did that too. I used a few samples to create house music.
However, I can see you master your subject.
Would like to start using my hardware synths, but I was hospitalized. (I bought them just before I went to the hospital.)
I know serum but I don’t own it.

Hope I can find inspiration like you :slight_smile:

I’m home presently. I was hospitalized during 2 months.
I’m not quite ok… :neutral_face: Still have some symptoms like sleep issues, anxiety and low mood…
But it’s ok, i’ll survive.
Actually, I’ve done volunteer work, and it’s really exhausting.
It causes a lot of stress and I think about that job too often.
I’m thinking of giving up, but my choice isn’t made.
