Yes. I listen to video game music a lot. Final fantasy have done some good music. Super smash bros too. I also like listening to Zelda music.

@Qwerty yeah the final fantasy games has some sick music. My fave from ff is a song called one-winged angel, from the final fantasy 7 advent children movie. So epic!

I love game and movie soundtracks. I listen to them a fair bit. I mostly enjoy haunting classical sounding compositions. Like the Lords of the fallen (2023) songs. The mass effect trilogy has some awesome trippy sci fi techy sounding epic music too.
Elden ring has some crazy mad music too.
Generally i like good rpg game soundtracks. Some are phenomenal.

And if anyone remembers the GTA 1 game for ps1 could be played as a cd with the songs from the game

Colony 9 from xenoblade chronicles is a nice upbeat/calming bit of music. And then the slow piano of Valak mountain (night version), I must wonder why it isn’t the top elevator music of the world, just a nice calm ride into abyss.
I also like the string music from (Advance Wars Reboot Camp) - Grit’s Theme, or the forest navel (pikmin) in small doses. Might be labeled as some sort of slo-motion country hick music, but it is different than most music out there in popular culture.

A remix of a game tune from 40 years ago!
Saints row 2 had a good metal/hard rock channel I know the number was 66.6 something I forget lol but it was awesome
