I quite liked BE for the style. But its just weird when other people mimic it so directly.
I will say I like the softer singing style. For a while in the 00s/10s I feel like it was all about singing really loud and powerful all the time. But it just feels like they mimic her music in every way possible rather than merely being influenced by her.

Even though some artists may be similar to others it doesn’t mean the songs are bad, some are pretty good.

Yeah you’re actually really right about that. I was more commenting on the singing and production style but the same doesn’t apply to the songwriting itself.

Im the opposite. I find Christmas very depressing and Christmas music makes me mildly irritated lol.

My cuz was a drummer for a band and they did a couple of excellent songs with one set in an abandoned mental asylum,

I also know a mental health band who are looking for a drummer.

and Christmas Rocks but maybe its a bit early for it lol, need to wait until after Halloween i think :slight_smile:
