OK ,anyone got any gems you would like to share.
Doctor Zhivago with knightly is pretty good. But beware there is some heavy topics including cannibalism in it. If you plan on going your meds anytime soon I would not watch this movie. But emotionally rich it is. I don’t think I have cried that hard but it made more appreciative.
La planet sauvage
Old French animation.
English translation is fantastic planet.
It’s pretty fantastic.
My friends bought the lp of the soundtrack and their total cynics. So there’s that.
“shutter island” was an awesome movie, also “the beach”
Shutter Island is great. Leonardo did a good job.
I would go with Innaritu. He has no bad movie yet
Want to see a film where the special effects will play on you? The film The Impossible is that type of film. Throughout the film and at the end, the special effects shock you to ask how anyone can survive this crisis. A powerful film for sure.
Wanna see a film about the big boys: Michael Clayton.
Inception too.
They live! Is free on Hulu at the moment.
It played right into my paranoia at the time but I still liked how it explained things.
Good plot.
**If you like older movies, try Lawrence of Arabia ( true story ) or Reds ( also true ). Both are big sweeping movies. As @nykia said, Inception was a great movie also. *
Tombstone. With Val Kilmer and Kurt Russel.
They live… Good call k.
